Our Story
Med Staff Tracker was founded by Omid Zad, MD, a physician and leader in healthcare who has lived the challenges of healthcare hiring from every angle – as an applicant, as a clinician, and now as a leader responsible for staffing across multiple hospitals.
As an applicant, he experienced the uncertainty of not knowing where he stood in the hiring process. As a practicing clinician, he saw how delays and lack of communication made it harder to track and keep up with licensure and certificates. And as a leader, he faced the complexity of hiring physicians and mid-levels across multiple hospitals – constantly exchanging emails for status updates, struggling to see when new clinicians would be ready to start, and lacking real-time insight into how many FTEs are needed at each location.
Med Staff Tracker was born from these experiences. Rather than accept inefficiencies as unavoidable, Omid set out to design a solution that brings clarity, transparency, and accountability to the entire process.
