Episode 45: Personal Branding (and Speaking Gigs)

Today for our 45th episode, we are going to have another Jeffisode. That means there is no guest, just a man and his microphone, talking to you from his AirBNB in Lisbon, Portugal.

If you don’t like these Jeffisodes, as a few listeners have started to affectionately call them (or at least I assume it’s affection; but then again, I’m the egomaniac who names everything with Jeff in front of it), then you can hold out to our next interview, which will come out in two weeks.

But it sounds like most of you enjoy these Jeffisodes, because I got a ton of positive feedback on Episode 43. I got more responses to that one episode than any other episode we have published here. So why not do it again!

Today’s episode revolves around a question from listener Grant.

Grant says:

Hey Jeff,
Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed the latest podcast. The honesty of the ups and downs from your experiences made for a great listen. Keep it up. I’d love to hear more about your honest thoughts and experiences around building yourself into a thought leader.
Going from getting pitches rejected to speak at conferences to keynoting at major events. I think it would be great for you to share more about that and how to go about building your personal brand; especially through speaking. Hope all else is well my friend.

Listen along to hear my response to Grant, and some other updates from the world of Jeffalytics.
