Depth of Knowledge Newsletter
November of 2016
Can you believe it’s the last month of the year? December is often an extreme in one direction or the other for businesses. Some businesses find it to be peak season (and very stressful). Retailers particularly come to mind.Others consider year end to be a welcome respite from a hard working year. Many agencies or seasonal businesses come to mind when I think about calm Decembers.
Mine is going to be pretty intense with working on finalizing my next online course and setting the stage for 2017. December is my favorite month of the working year, because it allows you to reflect on what you did year to date, and also dream about where things will go in the future.
I know that for many, 2016 was a challenging year. If you feel that way, know that there’s still another month to turn things around! Here’s to ending the year strong.
Now on to our resources.

We had two excellent podcast episodes in November. First, Jen Havice joined us on the podcast to talk about he journey into conversion optimization. If you like stories about unanticipated career changes (and finding your calling where you least expect it), then you will love hearing from Jen.
Then I got on the Mic and shared quotes from our first year of the Jumpstart podcast. Can you believe it’s already been a year of the podcast?
Not only that, but we are entering year 4 of this newsletter. November of 2013 was when we started. Seems like just yesterday when I sent that email to 100+ people from my personal address book and some I scraped from LinkedIn (sorry). Now we are well over 11,000 people on the list!
Oh, and we launched our Agency Jumpstart Course into private beta in November (and beat our registration goal by 50%!). I can’t wait to see where the public launch goes in March of next year.
Have you told someone about this newsletter yet?
