Check out the New Elements We Added to the Periodic Table of Google Analytics

New elements

We have a special guest host for one of our videos this week. Met him at Superweek Jamaica 2016 earlier this month and we had a blast shooting this video. Watch the videos to find out who.

This week, we released 3 new elements on our YouTube Channel: acquisition reports, multi channel funnels reports and segments.

In the acquisition reports, data can tell us who are the visitors to our website. And more importantly, how did they get there. Data from this reports will show if the visitors are coming from a direct URL link, social media, email marketing efforts, search engines, or other sources. View full write up here.

The multi channel funnels reports in Google Analytics let you see the path of a goal conversion. It tracks visitors who have been to the website more than once, and then becoming a goal conversion eventually. Find out more here.

Segments in Google Analytics allow us to zoom in on a portion of our visitors. Looking at 100% of visitors as a whole, the insights might not be much useful. Instead, we will often find the most insights by looking at a subset of our visitors. Read more about segment here.
