The idea to talk about reaching the right audience by choosing the right content format hit me as I was thinking about how will I get everything done while I’m traveling and shooting videos, etc. over the next few weeks.
While I could write something on the airplane during my 9 hour flight, there’s no way I would be able to record audio or video on the flight.
I can record audio in a quiet hotel room or an AirBNB pretty easily. I just need quiet.
But producing video? That takes planning. Weeks and weeks of planning. But when done effectively, it is probably the best way to build a brand. People form a relationship with you when you are on camera. When they can look into your eyes. When things feel authentic.
I love producing video content, but it’s soooo much work. It doesn’t fit into the Jeffsetter lifestyle I have in place right now, so I have to pick my battles.
What I thought would be a good Jeffisode topic is talking about the various formats you can use to publish content, my thoughts on achieving each and the best way to ensure results.
